At Interstates, our commitment to making a positive impact extends far beyond the job site. This year, our teams participated in over 50 volunteer projects—a remarkable testament to the difference we strive to make in the communities we serve.

Some of our most recent efforts were inspired by the holiday season, with our teams stepping up to give back in meaningful ways. Through the Interstates Foundation, we awarded $2,000 grants to one non-profit organization per regional office, empowering our teams to support causes close to their hearts. Here are just a few highlights:

Holiday Cheer Across Our Regions

  • Sioux Center, IA: Continuing a cherished tradition, our team volunteered at Hope Food Pantry on the day before Thanksgiving. Often, on the pantry’s busiest day of the year, over 150 families come through for food, thanks to the helping hands of our volunteers.
  • Lubbock, TX Office: The team joined in the festive fun at the Ronald McDonald House of the Southwest’s Trunk-or-Treat event. Decking out an Interstates vehicle and handing out candy brought joy to participants and showcased our creative spirit!
  • Aberdeen, SD Office: Team members put together thoughtful gift baskets for MidSioux Opportunity recipients, helping spread holiday warmth to families in need.
  • Brainerd, MN Office: Our volunteers rolled up their sleeves at a local thrift store, sorting through donations and taking on tasks that made a significant difference. The store’s staff's gratitude was truly rewarding!
  • Manhattan, KS Office: Creativity was in full swing as the team decorated Christmas trees to donate to Be Able, a local rehabilitation organization. These festive trees were a bright spot for the community.
  • Omaha, NE Office: Through their annual toy drive for Omaha’s Open Door Mission, the team raised over $3,500! They delivered a sleigh-load of toys to bring joy to local families.
